    Just to close the loop on this issue. Turned out to be the pump. Burnt up pump ecu. Took the pump out, bought a new Bosch ecu out of Japan. Local diesel shop calibrated the pump. Put it back in and away she went.

    Not sure what it has. There's no indicator there is a security issue. All my other vehicles have a indicator light for security. Either on the dash or gauge cluster.

    Thats for the suggestions. Solarman, it doesn't have a security blinking light on the dash. Not sure what voltages should be on the pump connections but there is power going to the pump on multiple wires. Vehicle is a 1999 Terrano r3mv . Japanese model 3.0 zd30ddti

    Thanks guys. Update. So I've taken the cps out and cleaned it. I checked ohms before and after and they are about the same. 1435 or so. Leaving the ohm meter on it and moving the sensor in and out of a piece of metal, the resistance changes. As it should. I put it back in to check...
