Hi NNMan,
Thanks for the info.
Not really had a good look around yet, just thought it would be another option to get myself some 16" rims.
Unfortunatley your a long way away from me.
Don't really want to spend much as will have to pay for the tyres to get put on them.
Cheers

Cheers Mav,
Really was easy with the right tools I'm sure I would have made a better job of it but as long as it works that's all that matters.
Just took the thing out, rubbed the rubbish of with sand paper, bit of solder and there you have it.
Thanks agian for posting the picture.

Crikey Mav,
That was quick, don't you have anything better to do on a Friday night.!!
Told you it wasn't pretty but eh it works and that's all that matters.
Thanks
Hewey
Hi Chris,
I've just sent a copy of the repaired resistor to Mav as per his previous kind offer, sure he will post it somewhere it can be viewed.
If you pm me your email address I can send you a copy direct.

Cheers HB,
Will look out for Frontera Wheels then, that is if I don't sell the LR Wheels and Tyres first.
Was a bit cautious the the Centre Bore on the Terrano seems smaller than most, will that not put too much load on the studs or doesn't that really matter?

Cosmic,
Now were not on Zippy's wanted thread, what year Pajero Wheels do you have and what size tyres again, you say you had to make some mods. to get them to fit properly, is that due to the offset of the wheels.
After replying to Zippy's wanted add I'm now tempted again about putting my...
Hi Guy's,
Been meaning to post this for a while, maybe you've seen it before but if not I find it very useful.
Also gives the percentage change in Speedo reading.

Hi Wayne, (That's 2 of us)
The unit itself is under the passenger side dashboard, see the workshop dowloads No. W18 this will give you pictures of it's location.
It's secured by 2 screws that can be undone with a short phillips screwdriver or in my case I think I used a 8mm socket on a small...
Hi Toolbox,
Yep membership costs well and truly covered for next 2 years.
Thanks for your post if that was the one Sweety referred to.
My resistor only had a very small break in it so was really easy to solder.
Cheers
Hewey.
Hi Sweety,
Well it was one of your post I spotted it on first so thanks, whoever came up with it first, thank you too.
The good news is that if I can do it anyone can, real easy job.
The thing was I'd actually ordered a new one from the dealers (£28) so thought I may as well give it a go...
Hi Chaps,
My 97 SWB had the usual Heater Fan only working on No. 4, decided last night to have a go at repairing it by trying the resolder method.
Yep I can't solder for Toffee and the Soldering Iron I have was a bit large for the job, it's not pretty but guess what it works. 8O
Big...
Cheers HB,
Thanks for your advise, wasn't sure if it was MAF related (which I presume it has??) I'm no mechanic as you can tell?
Will get them ordered, where do you go for your parts?.
Main Stealer!, Milners, Japarts, japanese4x4spares, other?

Hi All,
My 1997 SWB 2.4 Petrol Terrano seems to run rough when its cold/wet, but only after driving approx 1 mile, then once fully warmed up after a while it then runs fine again.
It starts no problem and seems to run fine until I've done about a mile in it's as though it's only running on 3...
Must Admit I tooik the easy way out.
Took mine to A1 autocentre, think it cost about £30 - £35 for oil and filter, which I didn't think was too bad including the Semi synthetic oil. Although I did phone a few of their branches before I got that price.
It was fun though watching then try and...
Hi all,
Thinking of fitting a different head unit into my SWB 98 Terrano as the LCD display has gone in the original unit, my question is if I just remove the old unit (which has the 4 screws to keep it in tight) and put a new unit in just with a cage will it bounce/rattle about???
Also anyone...
Thanks Guy's.
Will the difference in tyre width make any difference.
Do you know what the widest tyre is that will fit, I know that varies with Profile slightly.
My other question is if the Mitsi wheels fit what wheel nuts would I need to use.
