Rear Seat-belt jamming (Not Bob Marley!)

Hi, rear seat belt keeps jamming! Is it safe to squirt WD40 or similar inside, or does it need to be stripped apart? Works ok at times and too good a condition to dispose of/replace (unless unsafe to keep) Any advice welcome - Paul

    Gremlin! Seek & eliminate!

Hi mickmonk, The switch was replaced last week, so hopefully that will not be the problem! The RAC seemed to think there was a problem in the actual lead from the ignition to the starter. Cheers, Paul

Only 5v reading initially to this connection. (Black cable with feint white line) Battery, Starter, Earth & Power leads checked & all...

    Gremlin! Seek & eliminate!

I am not a auto electrician/mechanic, so bear with me!! On turning the key, very slowly or otherwise, there a couple of noticeable 'clicks' but no turnover. Then you can turn it again and it starts as if there was never a problem! Out of my depth with the fuel pump check and glow plugs/relays -...

    Starter motor?

For some time my Maverick has failed to start due to insufficient charge in the battery. I charge it up and it starts first time, this occurs about every three weeks. I thought it may have been either battery/Alternator/Earth/Starter Motor causing the power drain. I got all these checked by a...

    Cd/Radio 'Housing'

Radio Brackets Hi Elty Thanks for the reply. I think my description is wrong. It is the brackets either side of the radio housing I require {that supports/fixes the radio housing/cage in} Cheers Paul
