I have a mate who had exactly the same issue! Turned out the gearbox wasn't properly aligned to the engine when it was reinstalled and the direct gear (yep, you guessed it. . . . .5th) is the one that will jump out of position on overrun.

I have that exact kit. I used it yesterday to flare the pipe for the clutch master cylinder as I had to cut it off. Works just fine, if a tad fiddly to use if the pipe's stiil on the truck :thumbs
