Thanks very much for your help.so this doesnt have a crank sensor on the bell housing it takes crank reading from the camshaft gear at the front of the engine.mine is the three wire.goes to a collection of terminal blocks next to intercooler at font of engine this one being on the outer right...

Hi i do have intercooler .have cleared stored fault codes.removed cleaned and replaced said sensor left disconected and tried to start engine it did fire up then died .fault code 11 now stored.is this not the camshaft sensor.
