Well I went and did it and bought the Terrano that I've been looking for. 54 plate 2.7 TD SE with only one owner and lots of history. Spent most of it's time in Spain until 2010 so no obvious rot to speak of. 176k miles but the price reflected it at £1625. I'm pleased with it so far...

I know but I got cold feet and went and bought a Terrano instead. I guess I'm a 'stick with what you know' type... Still there for someone though?

Hi, I can't offer much advice other than the 2002 Maverick is a Mazda Tribute rather than a Terrano. This may help you to find the right part but I don't really know much more about these models. Someone else may know more? :nenau
