Hi guys i had a problem a while back with headlight bulbs blowing couldnt figure it out so i fitted a digital volt gauge and have discoverd that the voltage is jumping from 14.2v when driving up to 18.7v every now and then so theres my problem but why is is it doing this?The engine is a 2.7td...

Be careful not to get burst oil in yer mouth when you undo the sump plug :doh :lol it squirts out pretty quick to start with lol.

Went out for a decent drive today and i need pain killers :lol ah well least i tried,no they dont tilt but i tend to just open the back doors to let folk in the back haha,they were easy to fit to the standard subframe just had to make a couple of brackets for the holes on the seat to line up...

It feels good however i havent been out for a long drive yet i really hated the standard seat just couldnt get comfy in it at all also got loads more legroom now and its a little lower wich suits me fine.

Ok today i tested the voltage and it all seems fine so i have fitted a cheap set of bulbs they are working fine so far so il see if it happens again dont know what else to do :(

I agree the shogun is a better machine to drive my dads had two and they are way better to drive than the terrano the seats in the terrano are awful aswell.

Just a quick update on my slight problem with my headlights :rolleyes: ok so havent had a chance to check anything today but went to pick the daughter up and on the way home i had the headlights on as it was coming down dark had them on for around ten minutes then they both blew aswell :doh...

Hi lads had a look today cant see anythig obvious i took both bulbs out and both the full beam elements have blown?im confused.com i spoke to a sparky and he suggested it could be the relay aswell so il have to look into that i dont want to spend another 20 quid on bulbs and have them blow again...

Right ok i will have a look tomoz its a bit strange as they were working fine and the plugs looked fine when i put them in the bulbs have only been in a couple of months so would you say that its unlikely to be a fuse?

Just thought id post up and say that i adjusted the tappets on the mistral following the how to in the quick links section the engine has done 65000 miles so not exactley high and what a massive difference it has made the gaps were well out and it was chapping a bit but now it honestly sounds...
