Daft question but you dont often park facing downwards by any chance, my drive is slightly down hill and ive noticed the water pools up against the back door seal, bit of a bad design really.

I dont see any relay on the wiring diagram in the manual (doesnt mean there isnt one there!). The only common thing is the combination switch, so if you have shorted something with water you could be getting a live neutral back to the switch maybe! Check the wash motor connection, thats down...

The speed (rpm) / amps are in the manual, it gives three different speeds, should help with the set up.

Mine was the same when i got it as the key remote didnt work, I seem to remember this is how its supposed to work, probably why so many terranos have the alarm horn behind the rear quarter trim disconnected. Best thing to do is get a keyfob or remote style key for your car and program it.

More likely a wire the wrong way around or a fuse blown or duff stereo as the NATS stuff doesnt apply to aftermarket stereos you dont use the wires, just standard power and speaker wires.
