If your not claiming you might as well get the wd40 out and strip all the parts, check whats still ok and then start ebaying. There must be a few quids worth of engine and running gear at least, could be the start of a new parts business:)

I meant camera gear however you point is a very good one. Are you doing one location or moving around?. Why not try a westerly backdrop with visible horizon as the sun goes down, bit of fill light on them and the costumes they will love it if it comes out right. Maybe even a couple of dusk shot...

Oh right well if you dont have a 14pin then i guess its easier to resolder the consult, just follow rayf's pin out numbers and you should be laughing, i find it easier to figure out which pins are which first and where they go, do a little drawing then check the drawing again and crack on.

just wondering why you are rewiring the consult, its easier to make and adapter lead 16pin to 14pin, then you dont need to rewire the consult.

Just use a multimeter to see which pin goes to each wire, easier than chopping it up
