Hi Guy's will start cutting/grinding the spring holder off this weekend will post some photos when it's done

As you said the difficult part is between the chassis and the body once i start i will not be able to move the terrano,will take another look tomorrow night,i was thinking of trying to plate it top and bottom but i will need to grind down to good metal if there is any left

Thanks Rick,Removed the o/s spring this evening and the spring holder is in ok condition had a good scrap/stab at it, i also power-filed the chassis runner around the spring holder n/s and it's in good condition it's on axel stands so I'm thinking of removing the axle and exhaust to give better...

if spring holders/new or second hand were placed over the chassis providing the metal is still good would it be mig or arc welded?

Thanks guy's i will have to think which is the best way to deal with this,i phoned Nissan today new ones are still available at £108.48 plus vat per side then there is the welding cost,i don't want to cut the chassis as it looks ok there was someone out there selling fabricated versions for...

Hi Guy's, I'm new to the forum love the terrano but not the rust,went to change the rear coil springs today as i removed the n/ side spring with the upper rubber cup the round seat where the spring sits at the top has a large hole in it,i don't think a plate would be strong enough any advice...
