hello again ive seen the two holes youre referring to but they are not 8m there something like 6 m with captive nut behind i took youre advise made to arms but used the centre hole between the two to attach then had to connect to the bull batr so there are two attached at the botton on bracket...

morning all , i have touched on this before but was wondering if anyone can shed some light without me being referred to the manual which doesnt give much away ,i need to know what the little bugger is that operates my rev counter ,as ive had this rev counter intermittent problem for a long...

the manuals ok for some things but its not like a detailed old haynes them japs dont give away to much:lol

mines only got one bump stop tied on with plastic tie passed mot ,but doesnt lean to one side as a matter of fact the bump stop thats on there doesnt even touch when just sitting dont know wether i would imagone it does if fully loaded over BUMPS lol:thumbs,at least you havent got no welding...

so if i managed to bolt the bottom to the chassis and then as long as i bolt the top half to the panels on the body im ok ?

yes thats exactly what there doing there like hinges on the bottom but i cant seem to find a solid point up above where the brackets are to bolt onto everything is further back behind the bumper ie,the front cross member in front of the rsadiator, do you think i should be using spring washer...

should i use the serrated type washers or the the slit ring type do you know ?:nenau

well compared upto the terrano the bars i got werre supposedly off a navara the bottom just didnt quite curl up to meet the terranos brackets on the chassis so i made two brackets from a old tow bar drop plate i had cut in half, now the bars inn the right position with two bolts the other two...

ive been on pensarn beach loads of times even in mondeo but its all pebbles mostly ,last time i went on there give me lad a go of terrano and he managed to bury it in pebbles , low ratio got me out then cracked a fuel pipe must have been all the stones kicking up,but you can drive straight on...

i had indicator problems llast week working not working etc intermitent it turned out it was the actual holder you put the bulb in on the rear the white and black moulded bit something gone inside which you cant get to so i bypassed it and drilled small hole in the holder made my own connection...

mines vertical and works needle on the left of guage mine operates normal at well if it were the left half of a clock from 6 to 12 mine would operate at 7 oclock but when towing 8 oclock ,however when pump was broke it was operate ing at 9 and eventually hitting 11 if that makes sense ,lol:naughty

thats excellent that that explains it i thought it was just a piece of metal that looked like it done something that explains the noise must be the fan spinninfg faster then cutting off :clap:clap:clap
