Hadn't considered a torn engine mount. Is it difficult to change / fix? Will need to have a look also with other suggestions. Had a look on Milners for engine mount part but couldn't see anything listed. Thanks for your suggestions / advice.

I'll have a look to see if worn uj's for the vibration and also do the clutch test. Cheers. Driving to work this morning the whine from front was quite evident. I'm leaning towards a power steering problem but not certain. Not a good time to pay for repairs but I suppose there isn't a good time.

Cheers for the replies chaps. I am a little concerned in case it is the clutch as is mentioned. I'll have a look at fan etc at the weekend or earlier if I can. It does look as if it won't be a one part fix all type of thing :eek:

Hi, I have a 2005 Terrano 2.7 diesel with 34,000 on the clock and have a few concerns that I'm trying to figure out. I've had the vehicle about 4 months now and seem to have all the noises going at the moment :confused:. I can't think of any other words to describe them! I have searched the site...

Hi all, just joined the forum after buying an '05 Terrano 2.7 (5 door). Have had a '97 Maverick 2.4 petrol (3 door) before. Here's to a long and happy ownership. Drinks on me!:beer
