When you changed axles, did you also change the Diff. oil ? use 3 litres of Limited Slip Differential oil. Is the new axle sitting "square" and in correct place ? Is the tracking correct ? There are many possible reasons ... was the exchange axle off a scrapper and if so, was it any good ?? All...

And as Zippy stated, you may need to change the Limited Slip Differential oil in the rear Diff. as it tends to make these trucks "Skip out" on roundabouts etc. when the oil is past its best. The rear diff. will take 3 litres of LSD oil . Matt.

I had a Grey import 1995 Mistral ... they do not have the computer setup of the TDI version , I think you will find that there isn't a facility giving fault codes ... You could always buy the workshop manual for the square headlight pre-TDI version from Milners for £40:00 ..... or the one I have...

I think I read a forum somewhere on here about the return pipes letting air in. The fuel return pipes that connect between the injectors taking unused fuel back to the tank. Might be worth checking old forums. Matt.

Basically LGV and PCV drivers have to do the 35 hours in a classroom every 5 years ... There is no examination as such ... as long as you turn up ... you can't fail ..... That's how ridiculous it is ... you can do 7 hours every year, and in 5 years you've done your course. More pointless...
