    Another 2.4 running RUFF

Looks like a sensor problem to me, something is telling the ECU to run lean. I think this because you say the Mechanic altered the mixture with his laptop and improved things but as soon as he disconnected things went back to normal, i.e. poor. I think mine is the same

    A "Triumph" over modern technology!

My old 2.7 TD Mav was pretty gutless and my new(er) 2.4i Petrol is not much better. I believe the following Horsepower figures are about right: 2.7 TD 100 2.7 TDi 125 2.4i Petrol 110 3.0 Petrol 150 So if everyones vehicle is not poorly then it seems that 125bhp is needed to make them go.

Pity it's only vinyl, but you have got me thinking. Maybe the lights could come on with my brakes, what do you think?

I see a few posts on here regarding MIL lights and ECU codes and as my 2.4 Terrano is not running as good as it should I wonder if someone could give me an Idiot's guide on how to check it out? Thanks for all your help.

    Help with spark plugs needed

As the engine seems to be misfiring whether running on petrol or lpg I have been going through the obvious causes and so far have checked the spark plugs, changed leads, rotor arm and distributor cap...still the same . So today decided to change the spark plugs even though they looked in good...

    lwb t2 body lift

In my experience this is absolutlely right. My son got into Golf GTi's and trackdays, I even had a go round Mallory. Some people could not believe that a 19 yr old(he is now 25) could insure a modified Golf GTi but we found that if you chooose the right insurer and declare everything that you...

Public flogging then a day in the stocks for them...scum bags. OR make them drive a caravan for a week then they would really know the meaning of public humiliation!
