    K&N Air Filter question

Hmmm.... Curious  Having seen photos of the air intakes of the 2.7td and comparing them to the air intake arrangement of the 3.0, they look remarkably similar and the fitting kit looks like it should bolt straight on to the MAF assembly? Maybe I'm missing something obvious (which is...

    K&N Air Filter question

Can anybody confirm that the induction kit for the 2.7 will fit a 3.0lt? Cheers, John.

    Power (or lack of!) woes!!!!

Well, my initial joy has been kind of short lived :(. I drained the new filter and though the fuel was considerably clearer, there was still some sediment - this being after only 1 tank of fuel. I can only conclude there's some serious crap in the fuel tank :( :(. Although performance isn't...

    Power (or lack of!) woes!!!!

I appreciate the concern there mate and I intend to drain the new filter in a couple of weeks to see if the same colour stuff comes out again. If it does, I'll have to investigate further . I let the jar settle for the night and it appears to be sediment. The fact that the filter I...

    Power (or lack of!) woes!!!!

What a transformation a simple change of fuel filter can make! I nursed the truck through the week panicking something was about to go expensively POP, got hold of a Blue Print filter, changed it in about 10 minutes and couldn't have been more relieved to have my motor back! I reckon it was...

Time for a service me thinks

Well, if you could let me know if a service gets rid of the "jurkiness" as I'm currently experiencing the same kind of thing. Milners will be receiving an order for a filter kit on Monday in the hope that I can sort the problem and retrieve the caravan from the site by Aviemore that I'm having...

    Power (or lack of!) woes!!!!

Urgent help required please folks :augie Was towing the tin tent on Saturday and thought "hmmmm, not a lot of grunt when I plant the pedal near the top of the rev range" and also "why are we hunting for revs when I hit the gas"? Over the last few days things have got progressively worse...

    Milners Drop Links (part deux!)

It might actually be worth a try. A couple of years back they were sending out dodgy quality drop links for Delicas which were splitting and falling apart within months, even weeks in some cases. IIRC, some of the lads made them aware of this, sent them back after being on their trucks for a...

    Milners Drop Links (part deux!)

So it continues... New drop links arrived this morning (barely 20 hours after ordering them, seriously impressed with Euro Automotive Parts!) and still they're not quite right! Although the same length as the originals, they don't have the same offset - somewhere in between the originals and...

    Milners Drop Links (part deux!)

I've just ordered another set but this time from the eBay seller rustic linked to at the beginning of this thread. And at a tenner for the pair, they're a third of the price of Milners ones! I'll be sending back the Milners ones with the piccie of them beside the original and politely let them...

    Milners Drop Links (part deux!)

Having lifted the part number from the Ebay link Rustic posted, I fired it into Google and and several of the websites it returned do indeed show drop links which have the same shaft offset that the original parts do. Example here - http://www.yiparts.com/Part/en/n/FRSKAF My concern with...

    Milners Drop Links (part deux!)

Apologies for the thread hi-jack and putting it back on its' original track, but I've just bought a set of Milners front drop links and after reading this post, thought I'd take a couple of replacement and original comparison pics. I think these go a long way to explaining Terranicals'...

    oil pressure switch location?

Lurch, when you say awkward to get to, just how awkward was it? I've got this job to do before too long but so far haven't managed to locate the top switch :nenau. Did you manage to take any piccies of the job? Cheers, John

    just got one

Ours was christened "Trinny" pretty quickly. I try and get "in" her as often as possible...... :augie John.

    Big bang.....sounded expensive!!!!

I'm not sure if it's the same with Terrano's, but the torsion bars for my Delica were specific for left and right hand side and I would be wary of getting one from a breakers yard as you can't be sure the same thing won't happen as soon as you fit it! Sorry for the negative slant. cheers, John.

Which oil (again!) and K&N Induction Kit.

Being on nightshift (read - bored), I thought I'd have a go at getting a definitive answer off t'interweb to a couple of questions before resorting to wimping out and actually asking you guys. How wrong was I :nenau ! Dunno if I'm looking in the wrong places, or not using the correct terms in...

    Terrano 3.0

Well, having only done just over 100 miles towing my Avante of a similar weight to yours with my newly acquired 3.0 T2, I have to say I too, was quite impressed! The outfit felt a lot more stable at 60 than it does when towing it with my Allroad, but I'm putting that down to the Terrano being...

Newbie with a problem - help. Please!

Just got the truck back with a pressure reading of 95psi which, according to the chap at the garage is "plenty pressure". Does the collective knowledge here know what kind of pressure I should be expecting from the engine? The reading was taken from the sensor located by the oil filter housing...
