Thanks for your replys will look into the water pump being replaced. The previous owner was a heavy smoker any tips on how to get rid of the smell as a non smoker i really notice it. I'm cleaning the interior and applying liberal amounts of febreeze, is there anything else i can do. Tony

Just purchased an astra estate 1998 1.7TDS only 44,000 miles. need to get it to the vets for a service etc. maybe a new cam belt. anything to look out for on these vehicles, its the first vauxhall i've had. Tony anyone got a load cover(to fit the astra)?

hi you could try disconnecting the battery overnight to see if this sorts out the ecu. Tony

Try tapping the accelerator with your foot. These things have a potentiometer on the accelerator, find and clean. Search for manual on navara .net ,they may be on here i can't remember,you may have to replace it Assuming thats whats wrong with it. Tony

You appear to have fitted only one, can you re-use the holes and turn the bars through 90 degrees and then fit them .:clap Tony:augie
