it doesnt have a mini filter... as i discovered after spending half a day getting in to clean it!!! havent used any fuel apart from diesel and i always run a cleaner thru it at the same time due to my last problem. i'll change the fuel filter again and keep my fingers crossed.

sounds like the same kinda problem that i have. mine was fixed the last time by changing the fuel filter, maybe give that a go. i too thought it was the glow plugs, battery etc... after changing all the expensive bits it turned out to be the fuel filter!!!

im going to order a new one anyway and fit it myself, had a look in the downloads section. i was just quite surprised that the one that was fitted has only lasted 2 months. it was a genuine one from my nissan dealer as well.

i replaced the maf a few months ago too, i know what its like when that goes, its certainly not the maf thats causing it.

a few months ago i had a problem with starting the terrano and losing all power when driving.. problem was eventually sorted by nissan and turned out to be the fuel filter. this was replaced 2 months ago and the problems have started again, could it be the a dirty or blocked fuel filter...

i brought this up on a previous post... someone suggested good old household furniture polish. was a but apprehensive but i sprayed it down the window into the seals etc and its worked a treat, that was about 6 months ago and they've been speedy ever since. an easy cheap fix...

just to say i was really impressed by the handling and ease of the terrano on the journey from glasgow to manchester and back. ive been long journeys in it before but not loaded with 7 adults and half a dozen crates of beer!! it handled so well and i did not notice the extra weight, sat at...

Tried them all.... all fully booked!! cant even get a campsite for the tent!!! think its going to be a couple of nights with the back seat folded down in the terrano.... never mind, it'll be worth it!!

heading to manchester for the uefa cup final on may 14th. it'll be a good run down for the terrano.... one room between 5 or 6 of us though as every hotel is fully booked!! think the terrano might be doubling as a bed for the night for me!!! anyone any contacts for hotels down there that arent...

ive left my copy up at my caravan so it'll be next weekend till i could copy it and post the pics. its certainly a very good write up and a good advert for the club, just dont know how many 4x4 users would buy this type of mag though.

got issue 2 through about 2 weeks ago.... good write up and pics of your patrol mav. very good advert for the club!! still not all that impressed with the mag though in general.. mainly aimed towards boy racers i feel.

does anybody know if a motor from the rear electric window would fit the motor from the front passenger electric window? my front window no longer works - turns out its the motor thats gubbed. is it an easy job to change and would one from the rear window be able to be swapped over?

terrance, that sounds a very similiar problem, hopefully mine is fixed now though!! just the window that doesnt work to fix now and the drivers seat to stop squeaking before i throw it out the window!!!

my normal garage for mot/servicing etc is £25 per hour, just been to nissan today who are £70 odd per hour!!

just got the jeep back from nissan.... needed a sensor reset and a slow flush put through the engine to clean everything out. Only skinned me £90 so i'll be quite happy if thats it fixed!!!

cheers shark1e, if i cant find the fault myself and nissan want a fortune for a repair im afraid its gonna be goodbye terrano for me. cant justify the money its soaking up at the moment.

ive replaced the fuel filter and checked all the pipes, thought everything was fixed but same problem happened today. took the terrano to my local garage who ive used for years, they ve looked at it but cant source the problem. phoned round all the local auto electric places but none of them...
