    well got uip today and lost coolant again - seeping from stupid plastic thermostat cover. Taken it off and cleaned up and put on gasket compound - this makes it leak more. Taken off and cleaned gasket compount off got back to stock and put on and still leaks. No splits in plastic everything...

    Thats what has always put me off, plus surely they draw in warm air from the engine bay whereas the original has air com ing to it from the outside?

    Ive got one end missing off my manly boards, the last owner had them welded on as they fell off lol. I must admit I'd ditch em but my elderly father needs them to get in the terrano.

    Brought ten bulbs for my display and just got it off and I have the ones for the displays ie fuel etc and not the mini ones for the lcd as I have two out.Are tese what I need? Pcb (Bx8.4D) Hex Base Bulbs Light Green 286Tm3 12V 2.0W They come in packs of ten though so if they are Id have some...

    Yep just like that. I used to have then on a pajero along the bottom of the door part looking onto the running boards - looked like a ufo as it came down the road lol.

    Ive got a volt meter already in the car but I have illuminated toggle switches and will position these where the window switches go in the older terrano models next to the hand brake. Going to fit front a rear blue led footwell lights and a masters dwitch for the roof dvd player.

    Well got some 4mm plastic and made space for single din and a new hazard push button switch. Cover plastic in fake carbon fibre. Wired in hazard switch and braced the back with wood cut to size. Total cost £5.69. I think its better than the £114 quid ones you have to buy.

    given up put old stat back in and it doersn't leak, new one is same size but no lip on the underside like the old one so this must be the issue - weird as local motor factors assured me it was correct?
