the breather I believe is a flap valve in the filler cap but when using veg up to the cap it helps to stick the valve more than when on diesel as the fuel is being used it can still coat the cap with veg when u go round corners so might be ur problem just a thought:thumbs

Again u say checked for resistance but u dont mention if the checked if the sensor is sensing as I have said before the sensor I belive has moving parts so did they check the sensor when doing the pressure brake test:nenau as it may well be showing correct resistance but not actually working

do both cars have Hitachi maf or r they diff

if both cars have Hitachi maf then u can swap as they don't need to be coded to ecu but if new 1 is bosch and old 1 is hitachi then no they have diff ecus and plugs:thumbs

the nozzles were cleaned but what did they say bout the sensor

Cant be flywheel but can still be injector no.1 sensor sticking as its a moving sensor the resistance would be ok just a thought as ur nozzles were fooked

you've checked resistance on no. injector which u say is fine but the sensor works by a small rod that moves when the pressure drops then back up when the pressure builds this is how it senses when no.1 cylinder has fired but when running shitty fuel which u say ur nozzle's were fooked then the...

right were all the injectors bad as if the 1 with the wire was then the sensor would more then likely be fook as it is in the path of the crappy wvo ur using and u cant be fixed u need a new injector which also means work done on it was awaste of money unless u keep it to replace either injector...

what weight were u towing as the auto has a limit of 2tonnes manual 2.8tonnes it might just be that u worked it to hard and a drain and refill may sort it out

Read my previous post the ecu can only advance and retard to a certain tolerance so pump needs to be set as near as timed as poss completely diff to common rail pumps which do not need to be timed
