failed on just welding 1. small hole in chassis just in front of tie bar holding rear alxle on to chassis easy fix and 2.two small holes under rear seats will cost about £1 for metal and a couple of quid for mig wire and gas just aswell i can weld nice easy and cheap fix:thumbs

from what i know its manual adjustment on the tappets for the 2.7 no matter what age the car:thumbs

well if the gas has gone u probably need to fix leak main cause the pipe with the service valve has hole under the rubber coated clamp above passenger head light or hole in condenser or like mine leaking service valve

Nope its on the inley to the ip there is a spring loaded valve in the outlet which is there to keep the ip under a certain pressure with out that pressure the timing on the tdi cant be advanced or retarded with the help from ecu:thumbs

I've had 1x reg terrano and a ip off a 2003 2.7 tdi and in both pumps had filter in banjo bolt think they all came out with the mini filter but over the years some people have taken them out so next owner thinks it never had 1:thumbs

Dont put in that grade of oil its too thin for theses engine's I use 15/40w mineral its what theses engine's were made for any lower grade and mine starts to use oil this grade I can go 6000 miles with out a top up:thumbs and it takes bout 6.8L

Yes get the gl5 out asap not good with brass . I just jack up and support passenger side a bit tp allow more oil in think on level the gearbox is full with 5l but put say another 200 mm in .tip boil kettle and put in bucket place 1l bottles in there so they get nice and runny and easier to...

do it again round back of house till u hear the noise then stop mark the tyre with chalk jack up 1 front wheel if there is windup the chalk mark will move as the front has open diff just like if that wheel was on ice and rest was on hard ground :thumbs
