It's not really running cool though, it's just being over-cooled by the huge amount of really cold air washing over the engine

I drove over the Moulin Moor near Pitlochry this morning. Temperature was minus 2 and the roads was covered. Truck took an age to warm up properly, too :cool:

You wouldn't have a broken coil on one of your rear springs, by any chance? A quick look underneath with a torch will soon give you an answer

I've had my condenser off for the last year and didn't even consider that :nenau Is yours a 2.7? Mine's the 3.0 so I think the AC pump is always driven
