Inner arches suck as the repair section are going to be big. But weld or patch?

My Pat's loving this 2mm thick steel.

Plus this bit Finishing touches were these corner sections which stiffen the front panel loads. Just got inner wings todo and some repairs on the wings themselves. Its showing promise anyway👍.

The strength that's now back in the front is great. Shouldnt need much more to make it bomb proof. The steel I've used is 2mm thick rather than 1mm flexi stuff. A little harder to bend but worth it. Find a little groove on the back of the bend works wonders.

Primered up and painted around the awkward bits.👍

Finally got my rad mounted and now sits a good 100mm further back. Front panel also coming on. Got my wheel arches todo next. The wings aren't great but should come ok as the lower section where the wide arch section mounts is hidden, bonus.

Mean machine Yeh they are pretty aggressive. But for competition use there perfect. And if I manage to get her through a mot, greenlaning and 4x4 play days won't be a problem. Have got some general grabbers as well, if I'm on the road for a long run. Gona keep accumulating everything I need...

Rad brackets do do tomorrow. Had to remove boost pick up point by air filter housing, as the rad needs to go back as far as poss. Will 're mount a container for the boost solenoid where battery 2 goes.

Gotcha, just need a pic of someone else's rear axle then as I have no pipes at all. What's left is by the front of the tank only. Wiring is working so just the gamble with the pipes then. Can you hear the solenoid working on these I wonder?🤔
