The effect is the back brakes don't work enough.

    Seized load sensing valve?

Is there anything to be done other than a good soaking in WD40 or similar? You guys might have guessed by now, I am working my way through a MOT failure list. It was two pages long! :( I'm getting there though, thanks to your help and the search button. :thumbs

    Front Hubs for Peasegood1

Thanks for that, it is very much appreciated. :thumbs I will check my inner hubs again but I am pretty sure there are no bits missing. Just those outer rings have the tabs broken off.

    Passenger side rear seatbelt wanted

Mouse sat on the window ledge and chewed it. :( Anybody got one for sale. It's not the one at the very back, just the "normal" rear belt. Or does anybody know if I can just put the very back one there instead as I don't have that seat in the very back.

Does fitting manual hubs solve broken brake rings?

The ring that fits in the outer part of the hub (the ring that has a bronze looking lining) should have two "wings" on it's inside edge. They are snapped off. On the passenger side they were never there as far as I can tell (can't find them) on the drivers side they were present but bent and...

Does fitting manual hubs solve broken brake rings?

Put it back together again, and yes you can get it together with the outer rings missing the "wings". I think those wings are what turns the mechanism and pushes the cogs into gear. Certainly isn't working anyway.

Does fitting manual hubs solve broken brake rings?

Having read up a bit more on the subject, I now know that when one hub buzzes regularly it means the one on the other side is seized. I mistakenly "fixed" the noisy side by taking a ring out. Today I finally got round to taking the other side apart and freed it off. I have also now realised (I...

    Rear body mount suppliers?

I couldn't find them either. Good job really because I would have wasted some money on them by now.

    Rear body mount suppliers?

Scrap that. It was an area that needed welding rather than bushes needing replacing.

    Rear body mount suppliers?

My Maverick needs new rear body mounts (bushes), are they a main dealer part or is there a better supplier? (cheaper)

Does fitting manual hubs solve broken brake rings?

Thanks again for the comments, yes I do remember Plank. I'm quite happy to have auto hubs, in fact they are probably more convenient. The reason I was looking at manual hubs was because I thought it would be simpler and cost effective. How easy is it to get two new rings for each side, and how...

Does fitting manual hubs solve broken brake rings?

Sorry for asking what has probably been asked many times but I can't find it in search. I have damaged brake rings, if I take the rings off and fit manual hubs does that cure it? Or do the manual hubs still use the rings (both the one in the auto hub and the one on the drive shaft) This is on a...
