could have been a cylinder not engaging the brake as quick as the other side but did you notice a pot hole in the road as that could have caused it lastly take more water with it :lol

when i owned my mistral it was a common fault started with Rossco in NZ and in a month there must have been half a dozen or more water pump went leaking. it was quite a forum at the time. Rossco did do a download on how to change it but if i remember right when i had mine done it didnt need...
