Quick up date... I have been scouting about for some kind of pipe to fix to the airbox then fix some flexible ducting from that to the inner wing bit of the snorkel. I went to my local DIY store and picked one of these up... http://www.screwfix.com/p/down-pipe-socket-black-68mm/17914 Now...

Is there anyone out there that has this valve they would be prepared to sell me? If I go to a breakers they will want to sell me the complete airboxi

Whats the best way to check the snorkel is sealed? Yes i noticed the drain hole in the bottom of the airbox, easily sealed when i do the other bits. I need to find a small piece of either metal or plastic tubing that is 76mm diameter then i can sort out how i am gunna attach it to the airbox...

No havent connected it to airbox yet, gunna figure out my options tomorrow

Well i have done it....and ordered my snorkel... Thanks for the write up, just a quick question....is it necessary to remove the front wing or is it done in place, i assume the snorkel body is secured from the inside of the wing...?

Great pics and great write up too, nice to see someone else do it. I have to be honest i have considered buying the very same kit a few times but the thought of cutting into the wing has always put me off...

Daft question but is it the same file format and resolution?

Easiest method is drop the ARB off, cut the broken link with the grinder, whilst your at it replace the rubbers with Silicon and replace both ends with new drop links.

but surely if the alternator is working properly then it would still show increased voltage being put to the battery terminals wouldnt it regardless of whether the battery is holding it?
