Never got around to doing my old T2 but I would advise using alchol (not the drinking type thats just gone up in the budget :evil: ) use a medical type.

Try removing the centre consol and then remove the window controls from underneath they are only held in with two crosshead screws then look closely to see if you have any broken wires. I had a broken wire on one of mine that until I removed the switch I couldn't see, this is an easy job for...
