That's about right Iain, 2 miles to Llanrug. Had a quick look at the light switch thing and I can't even see a switch on the Terrano but then I was only looking in passing while reinforcing the bash plate on the front. SWMBO has an 04 XTrail so I will file that one for the future. Peter

Looks like the air bag light, no light on the dash at ignition on, although I still cant see where it should fit. Somebody has had a problem and solved it the easy way. It will have to stay that way I'm afraid. Mental note:- try not to hit anything too hard.

Done the oil change and it needed it from the state of the oil. It took 3lts so it's the H233 and thanks for the link above which confirms what I found. Just the gearbox now. It has turned wet and miserable so the torsion bars will have to wait :( Maybe tomorrow. Peter
