It depends on which Cabstar it is - your car licence lets you drive up to 3500kg gross weight, which is what most Cabstars are, but there are some rated at 4500kg so you have to check.

I wanted to fit a CB antenna on the front on my NS roof rail, I already have an Amateur 2m/70cm antenna on the OSF roof rail, the SWR was good. I used the same mount and earthed the mount to the rail mounting bolt. The SWR for the CB antenna was way off the scale. I tried a different antenna and...

That heat ex looks like something I come across in my work on oil fired boilers - combi's. As said, looks as it is half connected, I would give it a good flush out as debris may have got into it.

I should think so as the dome is wider than where the 4x4 docks... to be honest I've not tried it though :augie

There is an elasticated drawstring around the 4x4 opening, reverse in and tighten up. The only gap would be under the axle, but can be blocked up.
