PHEW! did they ever do a terrano in common rail?

You put veg in a common rail??? wow iam suprised you still have that car!and not wrecked it..NEver put anything else part from diesel in one... what year terrano became a common rai?

The way you do it is a great idea,i prefeer to mix outside tank if doing it on a unconverted engine. Yes i have a twin tank kit(easy to make diy) mine is from diesel veg,there is a temp senser on coolant line and when upto 55 oc it allows switching over to veg.and a glow plug in loop bumping up...

Can i add to this... Ive been doing some tests for a filter company going as low as 0.1 micron yes 0.1 not 1! and we found that the cleaner the oil the better it lasts in the cold,i had a jam jar full last 48 hours in freezer and was not solid but thicker.after 24 hours was hardly any...

Phew,its like a black magic method on the bongo...only blak belt bongers do it ok!!...iam not a black belt!

under what conditions do you put in 4wd, say heavy rain(storm),ice,frosty winter driving in mornings ect...of course snow. or to sum up when not dry and you need extra traction? just worried if you put in 4wd when not needed would not be as safe as could be?

They are a great bit of kit,great for veg oil.drive is smooth and loads of power. buying a jam import car you have to be carefull,if sat on dock side for a while you can get coolant issues=overheating.mosty caused by hoses that have gone brittle.and or dirty coolant. we have got front and rear...

but now iam sure you will tell me they harly go wrong anyway!

bloomin heck 600 for a cluch!! and 800 for a recon gearbox! is the auto gear box pricey too?
