Can't fault mine, we do loads of long runs and we get 30-35mpg whilst being able to keep up with anything in the fast lane, loads of torque for overtaking. Plus, I've had the car loaded to the roof with really heavy stuff and noticed absolutely no difference in performance or economy.

Nope - I managed the hill up over the bridge and up the side of the ski-slope - un-gritted! :):) Now you mention it I have noticed the 4wd light staying on for a while sometimes after I come out of 4wd. I wonder if the hubs are still engaged? I'll experiment tomorrow and let you know!

Cheers for the advice - I was afraid it would be expensive!! Have you had to replace yours? I wasn't aware of needing to engage hubs when going from 2wd to 4wd, and I've done it both stationary and at low speeds in a straight line, though it does seem smother doing it when moving slowly...
