Went in my brothers Terrano today and it sempt a lot more lively than my Maverick, not sure if there is something wrong but am sure his is a lot quicker off the mark, is there anything I could check?

I have to agree with you I've just come back from Robin Hood Bay, nowhere the distance to Spain tho and it pulled my van great, don't know the economy cos took 4 1/2 hours [normally 2 to2 1/2 hours] to get there due to accident on the A64 near York and another near Whitby, then on the way back...

Did mine a easy way, bit messy but the bit the oil drops onto it wont rust :lol got a piece of old carpet under the engine, unscrewed the filter and let it drop to the floor, job done.

I used 80x40 box on mine with 30mm box for the uprights then welded it to the bodywork [it was a old sunbed frame :lol] but it got through it's test and is very strong so should be OK.

Am planning to take mine in September before the MOT is due in Dec, so am not working on it in freezing s**t weather. So this topic is going to have to be took into consideration.

Hope your right lazy=ferret cos only got about 30 pulling the caravan with my saab, so baring in mind it'll be running on a mix of veggi oil, diesel it could work out a bit more economical than than my car :)

I had a car did that, the stater motor jammed had for some reason Try and turn engine over backwards with a socket or if you can put it in 3rd or 4th gear and push it backwards.
