Good look Tomas, I ended up doing 130 miles yesterday and it ran great so i cant see any probs apart from the filter might as clog up someone said, but got one in the truck if it does.

Saab 2.2 TID have a chain i have one there great on a run you can get 45 to 50 MPG and around 38 40 MPG around town + there very quick for a diesel. Only reason i took mine off the road is the wife hates it [she doesn't like the seats too low].

I think the Tappets need adjusting on my 2.7 Maverick, can anyone tell me if they are adjustable or hydraulic ones?

Will be putting some in mine today when my niece fetches it,she works at farmfoods and its about £10 for 10 litres. Way i see it every time a gallon of that goes in the tank it saving me £2 and they soon add up to a few Quid in my pocket instead of Mr Cameron's :lol

yes there is underlay but it's stuck to the carpet, i had to take mine out last week cos of a leak, it took about a hour so not too big a job.

As anyone took the radiator fan off and fitted a electric one? just wondering if I could do that would it make it a little more economical. Cos my car fan very rarely kicks in, so the way i see it it's cooling a cold engine.

Ins My lads bought a 1970 beetle, he is 19 with no no claims and its going to cost him £1600, still a fortune but a lot cheaper than a modern car, he would have been paying £3 to 4 thousand one of those.
