    New Terrano :)

Well I got it :) Very pleased so far. Didn't get as much chance to play with it yesterday as I'd have wanted, as my wife and one year old felt a little neglected when I got home, late afternoon. Woke this morning to thick snow on the ground, looks like I'll get a chance to try the 4wd for real!!

    New Terrano :)

I've already had that conversation with them! I was concerned they wouldn't realise, what with much of their work being Landys. Probably next time. Struggling to find time to breathe at the moment.... Normal story, work, young family etc. etc. Now that sounds like very valuable advice! I'd...

Hi iam new please be gentle with me

Is there such a thing? I'm a new member but I'd display one. I've very discreet Merc club stickers on the other cars, had similar on the previous Jag too. Always think they're a nice idea, so other members can place the car & so others (& garages/mechanics!) know that you have an interest &...

    New Terrano :)

Well, all being well I'll be picking up the new toy tomorrow (hope it goes ok,cos I'm quite excited now & it'll be a tenner wasted on the forum if it goes pear shaped!). I've been hunting round for somewhere to get it serviced (previous owner said it was serviced last year but doesn't have...

    Hello everyone!

Hoping to pick it up Saturday lunchtime :) Could be useful as we appear to have snow on the ground once again! I then want to get it a full service and all the fluids changed before any serious use.

    Hello everyone!

Cheers for the advice on checkig the 4WD. Are problems engaging this (or the low box) common? If there are issues are they generally an easy fix?

    Hello everyone!

I will indeed! If I'm driving a green & silver Terrano you'll know who I am but if someone in a silver Mercedes saloon waves, that's probably me too! I'm planning to try some easy greenlanes in mine once I've got it... hoping someone might show me the ropes...... (?)...

    Hello everyone!

Thank you for the nice comments. :) Can I ask you guys a quick question? What's the best way to check the 4wd works correctly (I'd like to confirm this before I drive the truck away on Saturday), I won't really get a chance to try it across a muddy field or anything... Thanks again. Ian

    Hello everyone!

Hi all. Thought I'd say a quick hello as I'm planning to pick up my Terrano at the weekend :D .It's going to be a 3rd family car as I drive an (oldish) E Class Merc during the week and my wife a (much newer) A Class. It'll be something to transport us through the snowy Peak District winters...
