    starting problems

Starter motor removed after needing a tow start. What a ba**ard position to fit it. 4 hours in the baking sun yesterday. Only way it would come out was upwards through the tangle of pipes and cables. Bench tested it and it worked:doh. Stripped it as far as i could (one solenoid screw jammed...

The warning lights go off as you turn the key but the headlights dont dim. Starter not even trying. I think its either the...

Been a member for many years. Use the hidaways and cl's mostly. They also get me a good deal on my motorhome insurance.

    First time out

Well after getting all the welding finished i thought it was about time i got dirty. Did a bit of the lane over pepperbox hill, near salisbury. Didn't go far, about a mile, i was on my own and I am still on road tyres. Didn't want to get stuck first time out. Go a bit muddy so time to buy the...

    New Stereo

So you're not making any mods at all just in case it causes a problem to the new owner, if and when you decide to sell. I'm sorry but if you buy a 15 year + old vehicle you must expect it not to be 'standard':D

    New Stereo

OK. I just didn't want to pull it all out to check the plugs then put it back again. I'm an electrician so the rewiring would be no hassel but i will try the adaptor first.

    New Stereo

Hi, I want to fit a new radio/cd in the terrano. I know the standard nissan plugs dont fit so I am going to cut them off and wire direct. Has anyone got the wire colour codes for the existing loom?

    Rusty Sills

The sills aren't structural but they are the location of 6 of the body mounts. Serious corrosion within 300mm of the mounts is an MOT faliure.

    Rusty Sills

All the rust sorted now. When they started cutting the rust away it turned out to be much worse that first thought. Inner sill passenger side complete, outer from door pillar back. Drivers side sill from 6" in front of pillar to rear arch, inner and outer. 6 mounts replaced. Drivers side large...

    Terrano II tilt angle

Has anyone got the maximum tilt angle for a standard Terrano II (standard tyre size, no lift etc.) Had her over to about 25 deg today and she was fine but I would rather know how far I can go without sticking her on her side!
