hi lads. problem on a mistral. by each rear suspension spring theres a strut that goes from chassis to bodywork. are these shocks? offside one has sheared off its mounting bolt, push the tube and theres no resistance, spring naff? how much to buy? should i buy a pair? anyone got any? cheers

wobble sorted. it was rear offside distorted tyre

mileage hi mate. i got a 95 mistral and i get 400-450 from a full tank. keep mine in a/t mode all the time though cos it drinks it in power mode. also fast acceleration dont help, need to build it slower to speed. just my observations.

seats hi mate. im sure ive got the folding rear seat somewhere(took mine out for the dogs) if thats any good to you. mine are blue.

fuel filter just a note. try to get nissan filter cos some of the ebay ones have changed the ring seal at the bottom of the filter and it lets in air. took me a month to find the problem

rattle dont want to state the poss obvious but ive got a mistral that rattled like a tin can until i done the valve clearances.also had a loose exhaust bracket that drove me wild cos i couldnt see it til i dropped the belly plate:confused:

sunroof with the sunroof closed ,from inside look up you will see 4 plastic covers. pull these off and undo the 4 screws. roof will now push up from frame. look at the 2 guide wires, one each side of runners. there are 2 aluminium blocks. they guide the frame to tilt or slide. bet one of them...

hey paulp. have you had the gbox filter out of yours to clean it?

hi briggie. you wont get any codes to read cos your model dont have diagnostic capability. ive got the same model as you and one of the lads here put me right on that after i spent loads of time looking for a garage to do it for me. if shes revving ok then i would check the gearbox oil first...
