That is the fuel pressure regulator. Part Number: 2267086G00 or alternate 2267086G01 It's the same in the D21 or R20. New is expensive but you should find a used one with no problems overthere.

Don't know the laws in the UK, but over here the swap from RD28 to TD27 is very usual on Patrol owners.

Yep, that is enough! :clap I don't understand much about turbos, but does your new turbo has variable geometry? Did you choose a smaller turbo, better torque at low rpm or a big turbo, huge power on the high rpm?

Keeping this thread up. What about VGT (Variable Geometry Turbos) ? Here in Portugal i hear a lot about some Mercedes, Audi and Iveco turbos that should fit in the TD27. Any information about that?

I will check it, however a standard from another model should be cheaper...
