When I owned a t2, I attempted to remove the pollen filter, previous owned had removed and not replaced and that's the way it stayed.

I would definitely contact insurance company first....you may find that your insurance could be void if involved in an accident IF they are not made aware of the addition. One company I was with about 20mths ago would not allow an A bar on my Terrano.

I suppose this is purely down to geography If you happen to break down near a patrol or in an area with more patrols, you will be lucky to have a short wait.
