Is the part I need actually called a vacuum pump when I order it thanks

The pump is on the alternator I have disconnected the pipe that runs from servo to pump that runs along the bulkhead and there is no vacuum at the pump so I think you are right :thumb2

I tried this with the pipe off and there was nothing. There is a small diameter pipe that goes from the pump to a sensor this has pressure still when I disconnect the wires the brake warning light goes out

hi I have checked pipes I cant see any problems with them what I did notice is there was oil in the pipe that runs to the servo and also the pipe under the pump the one that goes to the side of the engine. I done the brake pads about 6 months ago but have had no problems until now could it...

Yep radiator cold and seems to be air in the pipes the pump had a small leak couple months back but seems to have stopped Sent from my RM-914_eu_euro1_337 using Tapatalk

When it does empty the water it's always the same place by the drivers' side wheel quite alot of water to i will check the connections and radiator cap and put some antifreeze in.do i need to drain the cooling system to be able to get the antifreeze in if so how would i go about doing this...

Hi well after getting the mot sorted i got another problem for some reason the header tank has started emptying itself. I cannot see any problem with the radiator or hoses. I think its coming out of the overflow on the tank itself. It has been suggested to me that it could be there thermostat...

noticed today when driving home when i turn the steering wheel to the left i get a knocking sound underneath the front of the car just had a new flexi pipe fitted so guessing its not that also i only have to move the wheel slightly and this happens so guessing its not the steering bump stops...
