Thanks for all your help and advice. I'll keep you all posted. Just getting a quote now for fitting plugs and I'll supply the plugs as suggested.

Garage has said if I get a quote for new glow plug's fitted they'd supply the plugs and pay them to be fitted locally to save me traveling back ! .....or maybe they don't fancy taking on the job themselves :(

Tested with multimeter, 14.4v running and 13v stood ? So seems like the alternator is putting charge into it ?

My neighbour just plugged one of those testers into the cigarette lighter power point and it's read 14.4 with the engine running ?

Rang the dealer, they said spray easy start into the air intake and hey presto it started with a jump start. They reckon it'll be plugs and I'll have to take it back to them to be fitted !!!!

Bought it of a dealer yesterday. Running it on diesel, ran fine yesterday to get me home from Leeds to Cheshire. The dealer was moving another 4x4 next to it yesterday when we arrived so perhaps he's jump started it. I did wait for the glow plug light to go off but the battery has died off quite...

Thanks again guys ! Banshee it works out at £309 monthly tax, so not to bad. Yeah she looks nice but already got problems though !!! Won't cold start this morning :( hope it's not the start of things to come.
