Possibly, do you have a reference / link / pic? Sorry for hassle, Ive done brake discs myself on cars but im a but reluctant to get involved with all this hub removal stuff myself.

Okay, so popped back round to garage at lunchtime, confusion still reigns. Its not the nut lock or washer lock, mechanic said they came off fine - it was after them. Its was after them, he described it more as a 19mm round nut on the end of the axle that had castle type heads?? If that helps...

Going by description, yep the lock washer and lock nut. Il play it safe and see if I can get both for both sides, so 2no. lock washers 2no. lock nuts The guy did say if the original nut had been in good nick he would have just popped along to Nissan garage to borrow the proper tool - so ties...

Me too, still very much a new boy to Terranos. I think from what I've read, the 2.7 is more mechanical tuning ( bit like the old 306 1.9 d turbos - ah the old days ) as opposed to the 3.0 which is tuned electronically - I could be very much wrong on that though.

Nope, I've had a DTUK box on the 3.0 commercial for 6k miles and never had an issue, had it on level 7 (1 to 9). I did pay maybe a bit higher price than fleabay units but I've always used the DTUK boxes on my diesel cars. It's not the bhp but the torque, it's relentless the amount of torque...

Both 3.0ltrs, scoops at side on both, think it just angle I took the pic on the commercial / combined with shiny bonnet! That reminds me - swap tuning box too!

Okay, it's official, I'm now a big time terrano geek. I bought the silver one to use as parts to transplant leather seats, rear window glass, bumpers and trim to my commercial bu it turns out the silver one is in better nick than my commercial, so transplanting the light and tyres to silver...

I've ordered up some of that stuff on the link above. Any specific a divide on removing the windows, I see the pics with the wire for back window. Does the forward window fit okay with hinge / opening mechanism. Also, any particular order for removing the trim bits to make life easy? Ta Aaron

That's what mine was last month, starting off as quite a nice wee whistle that I liked but then the flexi bit went altogether and screamed at me all the up the revs. I've done away with the flexi altogether now.
