i would not be suprised if trap is empty as you need the trap square on with the tunnel (idealy) you can see each open end of tunnel is at an angle to were the trap will sit hope im wrong..

i would not put it between them tunnels as too close. be sure there in line with tunnel at each end and pack in tight so its rigid.. it the traps are thick walled you might need to remove some dift from the bottom of a tunnel so it sits at the correct height as moley will know something is wrong..

i think there might be some humane traps but not very good ones so iy could be a struggle to catch, espacialy as its the first.. i could be wrong as im not the best mole catcher..

tell her its alive.. she dont need to know.. in uk its illegal to release live moles.. you catch it you kill it.. check french laws mate.

i used to catch moles.. i hunt rabbits and for some farms i would clean the fields of moles but only the nice farmers.. you want tunnel traps mate.. dont put traps in mole hills and a terrier can only get the mole if it pops its head out the top while said dog is there. chances are it wont...

if fuel is not a problem i would keep it and shove a roof box on it for a while and see how you go.. you can always sell when the weather turns and the value goes up if i remember correctly somebody had a 51 plate for sale on here for 1k that was modded, leather but no carpet.. i thought it...
