Don't know if this has already been said but start the engine from cold then immediately go and feel the coolant hoses. If they're rock hard, you have cylinder pressure venting in to the cooling system. If you have bubbles venting in to the expansion tank then you have pressure over 1bar in...

Bump, this is ready for another Mot if the buyer wants 12months on it for piece of mind.

The milners link is for the washer at the foremost end of the arm. I used some huge engine block core/freeze plugs to weld to the chassis eyelets once I'd drilled holes in the middle of them. I still have a few left. Will pick them up from work tomorrow as they're in my toolbox.

Now down to 4 x alloy wheels @ £80 or best offer if collecting. Can meet as far south as Carlisle/Hexham and maybe Stirling on the north side.

Tracked mine 3 times personally recently, same thing. Slight play in lower ball joints when loaded and levered as far as I can see.

If not steering stops, then one of the relay rod ball joints is paggered.

I think I have a set left over from an Upper Head Set when I did the gasket end of 2012...
