Today was a nice day to stay in garage :D
I modified the rear bumper brackets and painted them.. no picture sorry.
I also wanted to fit a full size jerry can somewhere in the vehicle and I bought a holder for it. I didn't find any other place which would be smart than the rear door. But there...
So I got my new shiney Kumho 31x10.5R15 tyres :D My friend bought them from Russia as he lives near by the border. I love these :kissy I decided to choose 31" because with 32" you get too many problems (been there done that).
Today I started my day by modifying the front bumper mounting brackets. It was quite easy job to do after all.
Then I test fitted the bumper.. and it looks like a Terrano again! :D
Today I also picked up the alloys... And the color is quite different what I expected.
I decided...
Painted all the repaired spots
Sprayed under protection
Changed the new started which came from Germany
Fitted the snorkel
Took the wheels out to a paint shop
Ok so for my Terrano II LWB with 2" body lift, I have to options 31x10,5R15 or 32x11,5R15?
Which one would you choose? I know that 31" will fit without any problems but what about 32"?
I'm going to install 31x10,5R15 tyres to my LWB Terrano 2. I'm just not sure with wheel ET. I have a set of ET -10 7x15 wheels but do you know if they come too out from the wheel arches? Other option which I have is ET20 7x15 which should be safer??
Any comments? Advice?
Yesterday I pushed myself again to limits with rust repairs and decided to fix all the rotten spots in the body. I'm not proud of the quality but at least its now done and it will take many years until I have to do it all again.. or at least I hope so :) Only thing I have to weld anymore is the...
I know what you think. I made a lot of work for that first Terrano but that was just the beginning.. there was so much work left to do with that.
I found this "new" one by a mistake. I wen't to see if it's as rusty as the seller said and indeed.. it was pretty rust free after all. Funniest...
Ok.. I have to admit that I got bored with welding + all the other faults and bought another Terrano II which is in better condition and has better accessories. At the same time a big rock fell off my shoulders. The first Terrano will stand as a spare parts vehicle.
It was quite cheap as the...
So I could go with that Milners rear 3" lift spring & shock kit and adjust the front to match without any problems? In that case the front camber and drive shafts would still be ok??
