Hi When i put the Alpine unit in just cut the feed wire to the Aeriel and put a switch in line. As i mostly listen to cd's any way, saves the Aeriell no end of ware and tare but when your laneing it gong to get a twang when you least expect it, and there expensive. Just do it makes sense. Davemud
