Would it be possible to keep your lappy connected and do a short run with ecu talk running? I found when I did this it gave a clearer picture of what was/ wasn't happening.My logs are stored somewhere if I can find them we could compare.

You say your air filter looks a little dirty? First thing I would try is removing it and have a short run out, it's as much the invisibly small particles that block filters. Worth a try .

Is there not a single power switch on the rear? Mine has the same rotary switch on the front but also a on/off toggle on the rear.

Did mine last week, driven by pure frustration at the standard nissan thing . It's not pretty but it's solid and I can choose a station rather than hope I find something I can listen to by pot luck Pics tomorrow

it`s all about airflow, whichever way you go make sure you get it .

dunno which way but whichtever way move it towards the rear a little , airflow is paramount, so close to the bulkhead and it will not matter which way you mount it (normally fans are at the rear of the rad)

Since you have one rear lamp working it's pretty safe to assume the fault is between that and the number plate lights. Do you have towbar electrics? Seen some pretty dodgy connections in that area

Check the cables where they enter the light units.They get a lot of water/ debris , found a few of mine corroded through ( well the local plod did )
