    Thanks Rick, I am going to attempt to drill it later will use dremmel type tool with small stone to cut through the assumed case hardening coat, then try to drill and tap I will update later

    HELP I can't figure out the fixing holding down the plastic cover over the wiper mech, looks like it is either hex [Alen] or torque but none of my keys will fit, I am well stuck. There are 3 of them in recesses, at last resort I will drill the heads off is extractors will not work, BUT guidance...

    Had a Kenlow, in the late 80's when it snowed down here and went down to -10C, thanks to global warming not that cold any more Did the job well and the motor did seize, remember to run it for a few seconds every week, pain in the butt freeing it

    Use a bit of tube over the drill so it stops the drill going too far, stop if falling off with a bit of masking tape, around the top of the tube then onto the chuck or squash it with pliers, you can actually buy depth stops but I found a bit of tube and tape were easy and cheap
