    No throttle at start

Tricky to get to..... No idea how to get that apart without losing everything!

Another shot (only one at a time?)

    Is this the rear banjo?

    No throttle at start

OK - thanks. Well, the little banjo filter was grubby but not impermeable. So, I couldn't get to the banjo at the back. Think I need my remote camera to have a look to suss access :-) As an experiment I went to the fuel filter, cracked the rear banjo, and managed to get the primer to move -...

    No throttle at start

Is the rear of the pump at the front of the car? I have removed it in the past. Down behind the power steering pump I think? I'll whip it out and check for starters. Could be that or the fuel filter, but it was working perfectly only a week or so before he laid his f**k fingers on it ;-)

    No throttle at start

I was away and friend went to borrow my 95 2.7TD. Yes he is mechanically inept but.... Tried to start but wouldn't run. I just got back and tried myself. It turns over and fires but can barely idle. Glow plugs are all new ready for winter, glow light goes off etc. Throttle cable is OK :-)...

    Disappearing clutch pedal !!

Nope it's a UK right hooker. Pipe comes out of the bottom of the master. Fiddly bottom nut but easy to remove it thereafter. I expected the pedal assembly to just fall out. But. There is a bracket/plate (factory) spot welded to the bulkhead as per the pix, so the assembly has to come back so...

    Key and barrel all grindy...

Yeah, I can bodge it for sure. I did wonder about putting some sort of start switch & button arrangement in. Won't please my wife though! Indeed. They tend to be real sticklers about some things we'd think are trivial, and don't give a damn about other stuff we'd be worried about. So yes, it...

    Key and barrel all grindy...

Not my year then :-( I think they are probably the same though your transponder looks a lot thicker than mine. My keys have no wireless central locking though. I'd probably just tape an old key to the transponder anyway - no one is going to nick this now :-) Want to PM me and tell me what...

    Disappearing clutch pedal !!

Very! Mines a 1995 TII SE - last of the old ones. Pretty sure the part was factory fitted. I've never touched it since I bought it over 10 years ago. NP - thanks for looking. Any ideas on why I can't the damn pedal box out, or how I get to the screw to remove the air vent feed? It was meant...

Cool & thanks! Just trying to get some pix of my existing stuff to compare.

    Key and barrel all grindy...

Well, I got the old barrel off OK. Think I did the same trick years ago on my old Mini! Hmm - next move? I could strip it down - not averse to that. Both keys are old and worn though. Any suggestions on next steps? Another barrel - can I get one? Can Nissan do new keys if I refurb the barrel?
