Yes it can be driven to a prebooked MOT centre and it does not need to be taxed. You need to have a valid MOT before you can tax a vehicle.

funny you should say that... i bought it cheap due to it having problem. it was vibrating and was undriveable over 30 mph. i took off the front propshaft and now it runs sweet. the joints on the prop are well and truly....... SHAFTED:lol

That explains that.... i even went at it with a lump hammer and chisel trying to separate it haha what a numpty. Are the fixed hubs pretty much maintenance free?

cheers for that.... its defiantly got the fixed ones then because they look different to my other ones and a lot smaller. there also held on with nuts rather than allen key bolts. I tried to take one off earlier to get to the wheel bearing but it was stuck fast. is this normal or has something...

hi. today i picked up a 2005 terrano. somebody told me that they have fixed hubs.... what does this mean and how is it different to my 2001 terrano?

It's an option I'm willing to consider. I can puck up a full terrano cheaper than an auto box.

What would be involved in doing that.

Soooo. ... I'm currently in Cornwall on holiday with the family and the auto gearbox has gone and is stuck in one gear along with lots of rattling and banging. It being recovered and taken back to Nottingham on Friday morning and then it's up for breaking. If anyone wants anything let me know.

Ive had this on a few terranos and other 4x4s. After changing the pads the pedal seems to creep down about half way or more. Even after fully bleeding the system it's still the same. They do go back to normal eventually.

my 2001 Terrano also has a leaking thermostat housing. im assuming yours is also plastic. Every other T2 ive looked at has an alloy one.:nenau:nenau i took mine off and fibre glassed over it..... so far so good. Now i just need to chang the water pump:(

i need the thermostat cover. the one connected to the top hose with the three bolts in it. also the price for the turbo:thumb2

Just ordered the parts I need and it came to a grand total of £15. A big difference from the garage as they quoted around £300:clap

Well, as expected it has failed but im not worried becase its nothing that cant be sorted in an afternoon. Was expecting worse so im pretty happy with that:D
