If the engine has been kept running long enough with no oil there could be a bottom pulley available for Banshee or at least some materials for makeitfit to practice his art work :naughty every cloud & all that.

I do think that contributing a nominal amount towards running cost of the forum also helps sort the wheat from the chaff.

I raced bikes years ago & had part of the piston skirt break away fell down into the bottom end so the crank shoved it through the gearbox. No spectacular bangs or anything the bike was absolutely flying then it died.

I don't think I would change anything if light spillage is minimal. You can't really do much more than you have already done, it is just unfortunate that you have neighbours like this.

When buying second hand vehicles I don't worry about how many miles are on the clock with in reason. If you look through the scrap yards very few end up there because of engine failure due to high miles.

I don't think you will be wanting your fleece if it's anything like the course I did as there are several welders working at the same time creating a lot of heat in a closed environment. On a side note I thought the course represented good value for money if you work out the hourly rate it is...

I can't help much with the overalls, but I have done a welding course with my local college & there was no bending involved at all. Each welding bay has a small bench clamped to a pole which can be adjusted up & down so you are welding at a height that you are comfortable with even doing...
