    Replacing track rod ends

Thanks Steve. So two kits, yes? One for each side, L & R?

    Absolutely mental

That's exactly why I always round our dogs up when cyclists are going past. No sense of what's going on around them. :doh

    Replacing track rod ends

Took mine in today for a couple of new front tyres ahead of next week's MOT. I wanted it tracking as the previous tyres had worn abnormally and it pulls to the left. However, the mechanic couldn't get the track rod ends to budge, either by hitting or with heat, so he suggested I buy a new pair...

    That wedding....

Boll***s to the lot of em. The so called Queen was happy to sell the UK down the river without giving two sh*ts for any of her 'subjects' when she signed the Lisbon Treaty and gave sovereignty away to Europe, so why should any of these subjects care about her and her family?

    Auto gearbox..?

Cheers for the replies gents. I have been seeing quite a few 3 litre autos for sale. These seem to have the air scoop offset towards the driver's side. Are these the imports that some of you have mentioned? Is there a downside to getting an import? Someone told me a few years ago that Jap...

    Auto gearbox..?

I may be replacing my truck (T2) for a newer version sometime soon and I really fancy getting an automatic - as I'm an idle fecker and it's two things less to do while driving... :D Does anyone on here own, or previously owned an automatic Terrano? If so, what do you think? Any mark or years...

    snow updates please

Snow glorious snow in sun....er..snowy Sheffield today. Took an hour to travel 2 miles this morning in nose to tail traffic, so turned around and came back home. Took the hound out for a lovely walk in the hills then took the missus on a couple of her jobs. Beats stuck in an office all day. :thumbs

    Difficulty accessing 2WD from 4H

Thanks for all the answers. Lacroupade, it may not be called neutral but there's a middle position (small 4WD gear lever) between 4H & 4L which disengages everything. If you select that position, even the normal gears don't work. I'll dig the book out in the morning to double check.

    Difficulty accessing 2WD from 4H

Hi guys. Long time since I've bugged you for answers but that's good news as it means the old truck has been running fine since the summer. However, this weekend has been the first time I've had to use 4WD and while getting into 4H has been easy enough, it's been hell trying to get it back to...

    Oil leak - help please.

Cheers. Now you have mentioned it, it definitely smells of diesel - unfortunately so does one of the cats who was sleeping under there..

    Oil leak - help please.

I noticed this morning that my truck is leaking oil onto the drive. It's been parked up since Sunday as I've been ill in bed, so don't know why it would start know? It seems to be running along here and ending up here The truck is parked facing downhill - left to right as you look at the...

    Wet boot again

I think mine was the rear door seal and the water was travelling under the plastic trim. Rubbed some silicon gel around the seal and underneath the trim and so far (touch wood) there's not been any more water in there despite some heavy downpours.

    Leak from underneath

Probably much ado about nothing but when I’d parked up this morning, I noticed I had a leak from underneath. Liquid was dripping down from the passenger side near the axle. After reading Daved’s thread I’m wondering if it could be from the air-con as I’d had that on full all the way in to work...

Adz, everytime I see your signature pic, it reminds me of when I broke my ankle playing footy. Ouch!

    Glastonbury

Never been to Glasto but was a regular at Donnington 'Monsters Of Rock' sprinkled with a couple of Knebworths and a few Readings. Whatever happened to Reading by the way..? Speaking of Glastonbury, if I'd paid all that money to see some bands, the last thing I'd want is my view of the stage...
